Choir tour has been an exciting, inspiring, and hilarious experience! From the concerts, to the host families, every thing has been a blast! Thus far, my favorite part has been traveling and seeing so many different places. Also, being able to share everything we've worked on in choir, while glorifying God, has created great memories that we can remember for the rest of our lives. One enjoyable part of the trip has been going to my host family that had two girls my age with Emily, Megan, and Katie. We partied it up. Overall, the trip has been a blast. I can't wait for everything else ahead.
Erin Cowan, alto With this being my first choir tour, I can confidently say that this is the best school-related trip I have ever been on. Getting to travel and experience brand new things all together has been awesome and in many cases hilarious. I love to laugh, and some of the highlights on this trip have just been the opportunities we have had to get to know each other even more. We have been with each other nearly constantly, and we've probably been a bit annoyed with each other at times, but I think the good times have most definitely outweighed the itty bitty bad :) This has really helped us grown closer together, all in all, and what's even cooler is that we've learned to point everything back to God, TOGETHER! Ashli Dehm, tenorette Choir tour has been such an amazing experience! I love being together with amazing friends and getting to share our talents together! I really enjoy coming to a new place that I've never been before and seeing all the new things! I've had lots of highlights so far. One of them was singing in the Portland airport while waiting to get on the plane. It was just great to sing praises and we even had another guitar player join us! Another great experience was Concordia, Mequon. Singing in their beautiful chapel was a once in a life time experience. These aren't all of the highlights! There are many more and I'm sure many more to come! These memories will last a lifetime! Lauren Curl, alto Had a great time today! Sang at Hales Corners Lutheran in the morning...what a beautiful church! Then we went to Mrs Krauses old stomping grounds, Concordia, Mequon and had master class with Dr Doeble. What a blessing she was! Staying the night with host families from St Paul's Grafton!
Today was a long day of travel...3 hour ride to Portland, 4 hour flight to Chicago, 1 hour of traffic to chicago deep dish pizza and 1 1/2 hours to our hotel in Wisconsin. There was definetly a Disney singalong in one van.... For three of us, it was our first time flying!! (See pic)
We are exhausted, but pumped for our chapel at Hales Corners Lutheran School tomorrow morning, followed by a masterclass and private concert at Concordia, Mequon in the afternoon! Thank you for the prayers, we are having a blast...God is good! |
